Re: Joe Hart
When he signed I was hoping he would be worth at least 10 points this season but he just looks a basic keeper .
Adrain is like a box of mad frogs and thinks his hands are on his feet but his got to be in the team now.

Re: Joe Hart
Why do all goalkeepers parry the ball nowadays?

I am not suggesting it was an easy catch, but had Adrian caught, or at least attempted to, the freekick yesterday they wouldn't have had the secondary attack of which they scored from.

Re: Joe Hart
All about Adrian now. The guy deserves a run

There's mitigating factors for hart to some degree (an inconsistent setup in front of him, with different formations and personnel and a team with no bekief) but he simply hasn't done his own job well enough - off the top of my head, there's rooneys third in midweek, recklessly giving away a penalty as well as somehow pushing a penalty save back into the middle (see Pickfords save for how to do it properly) brightons second (and not even trying to save their first), watfords second, being beaten timemand again down low to his left (e.g. Kane's free kick that hit the post, squad equaliser that rolled in) being slow off his line (see slurs' second at home) and also generally looking like it's all a bit of a joke. I can also only recall a couple of really outstanding saves - one against watford and one away to palace (every other save in the palace game he should have saved)

He's brought nothing really so far but cost a shed load and as far as his career goes, he could well be in the shit from next summer.

Re: Joe Hart
Quite simply you pick players who are on form. Adrian was good yesterday, Hart's been poor in the last couple of games (I think most of early season criticism of him has not been justified but he's taken a turn for the worse lately).

I don't really care about "Passion" though - Joe Hart is loud and passionate - he's just poor at present

Re: Joe Hart
Adrian is the better GK.

He has more passion and understands West Ham more also.

Usually keepers Joe Harts age start playing better and command the defence. Not in Hart's case.

I get the feeling he thinks he is better than West Ham

cant stand the way he never commits to a save, but just to turn his head over his shoulder to see the ball hit the back of the net. again!

Re: Joe Hart
There is no point in having two keepers at similar levels. Only works if you have lots of top competitions (i.e. CL and PL etc..). Even then it's an issue.

We just ended up losing a good enough deputy and pissing off a decent keeper to get another arguably worse keeper who we don't own and is on even more money.

As mentioned, pure vanity...

Possibly a problem for Hart. Although I genuinely think Southgate was just waiting for his chance to out him so not even sure Hart would've been number 1 for the WC anyway.

The way he's going he'll be lucky to be on the plane in any capacity.

He was and still is damaged goods... said from day one... I got called a cunt as I said he was not a step up to what we already had... hopefully sanity will prevail with the manager and the loons on here...

Re: Joe Hart
On the strength of yesterday, Adrian deserves to play against Chelsea, although I actually think he was a bit lucky not to have been sent off for his characteristic one 'classic Adrian rush of blood to the head' moment.

Re: Joe Hart
I thought he'd be a good signing and find his form here but instead he's struggled behind a poorly organised defense and although he's made some good saves, we've been shipping goals for fun and I've not seen exceptional saves which win us points.

I have no problem with us signing him. A lot of people on here were moaning about the lack of a top class keeper as both Adrian and then Randolph struggled to cement the No 1. spot with some below par performances and rash keeping last season. If he did well then it's problem solved, but either way his signing was going to attract attention and no doubt some positive interest.

I think a change for a few games may help. I'm not sure Adrian won't make some soppy mistakes. The rushing out at the end is typical of his sometimes suspect decision making.

Is Hart shot? Well he is a strong character and has the desire to be at the top but clearly no star player, on staggering wages and plays under huge pressure. I think a confident and relaxed Hart is a better keeper but he won't get that playing for a team at the bottom.

He's a good sub to have just a bit too expensive wages...

I was happy when we signed Hart.

Really happy to be proved wrong though. Adrian needs a run in the first team. Hart hasnt pulled up any trees for us and deserves to be dropped.

I make you right that it was a vanity signing but, I have to say that it was reported as being Bilic's choice at the time iirc....

Dr Moose 10:19 Mon Dec 4
Re: Joe Hart
I think he was also biding his time in the hopes that City weren't going to play well under Guardiola and the board out him, it seemed that way last season; they're now playing well with no chance of Guardiola going so he's going to need to find a club on a permanent basis and being in goal for a side relegation bound is not going to get him a move to a top 6 club. So its not worked out well for him.

Adrian now needs a run in goal and Hart dropped as England No.1, harsh but something has got to give so he can try and rebuild his career.

"Worse still, is he thinks he is too good for us I think. "

I think that's complete and utter nonsense. You can see in his interviews he cares deeply. He wouldn't be here if he thought that.

Unfortunately for us, he just doesn't seem to be good anymore.

Hope Everton was his last game, Adrian may have some misgivings but at least he seems to give a fuck, and was no worse than Hart, in fact he can only get better with a run in the team IMO.

Re: Joe Hart
Bringing Hart to the club by Sullivan was an attempt to buy over the fans/press that we have now got ourselves a major "face" at the club.It just goes to show what a fool he is.
Not only has he pissed off and unsettled the dressing room as I would imagine Adrian is a popular figure amoungst our. more committed players, there's vey few of us that thought our keeper situation should take preference over more alarming positions.
It was a vanity signing that has backfired by a clueless know nothing shitcunt

Private Dancer 3:40 Mon Dec 4
Re: Joe Hart
Moyes in his post match BBC interview pretty much said that Adrian stays in. Another embarrassment for the dildo's and potentially a big problem for Hart with the world cup coming up.
